I have only been able to find seven games from this, the first officially numbered Monarch Assurance Isle of Man tournament (for which no bulletin was published). Can anyone help to source further games?

Note, there were two previous Isle of Man tournaments in 1990 and 1991. Click here for details.

From BCM, Nov 1992, p579: "Isle of Man - This event, at Port Erin, 19-27 September [1992], was the third strongest 1992 open in Britain. Keith Arkell led most of the way but faltered at the end. Colin McNab’s late run took him to 7(9) and a rating gain bringing him close to the magic 2500 that should shortly ratify his title. (1) Colin McNab 7(9); (2) Paul Motwani 6½; (3-7) Keith and Susan Arkell, Glenn Flear, Gary Quillan and Gennady Timoschenko. More details next month." (as far as I can see, the latter promise was not kept)

From CHESS, Nov 1992, p5: "ISLE OF MAN: The Monarch Assurance, held in Port Erin, September 19-27, was won by IM Colin McNab Dundee 7/9, thereby gaining not only £600 first prize but also enough rating points to secure his GM title. GM Paul Motwani Dundee was second with 6½, followed by IM Keith and WGM Susan Arkell Derby, GM Glenn Flear Leicester, Gary Quillan Liverpool and Gennady Timoshchenko Russia 6.
